Sarah strives to present yoga as a lifestyle and an informed approach to living rather than simply an Easternized workout session. A class with Sarah reminds us to laugh often, to let go of excessive self-judgement and never take ourselves too seriously. Her lighthearted approach is balanced by her extensive studies of health and the human body which give focus to safety through proper positioning and a continual awareness of the breath.
From a small town in Iowa, Sarah has made Missouri her home. After obtaining a bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Kansas, she continued her education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City. Now a chiropractor in addition to a yoga teacher, Sarah witnesses daily how yoga can serve as a healing method for people of all shapes, sizes and conditions and is anxious to do her part to get the whole world to practice yoga.
